20160210_194234Affection.  Look at this face.  Who doesn’t want to pet sweet Asher.  How you interact with your dog may or may not be received as you intend by your dog.  You get what you pet.  Petting a nervous, excited, fearful or anxious dog, may be unintentionally nurturing the wrong state of mind.  Giving affection at inappropriate times can create many behaviors you do not want.  Be careful in how you interact with your dog, and make sure you are nurturing the right state of mind.
