Last year, when Gus was a puppy, we made amazing progress with crate training and house manners. At the time, his Dad had to lay his clothes in the office the night before, and sneak out of his room in the morning to get dressed. If Dad made any noise, Gus would start barking and wake up the whole family. We made so much progress in our work together.

This week, I received an SOS message from his Mom. They had been out of town for 2 weeks. When his family returned, they realized very quickly that Gus had been barking through the night. I happened to be in the area when I received the message, so I stopped by to see Gus. In our short impromptu session, we were able to reset his understanding of our expectations.

Even though Gus has been fabulous for over a year, life threw him a little curve ball. I love that his family remembered they have a support team with us. They are so excited to get back to sleeping through the night. Isn’t Gus such a cutie!?!
