Clean Your Dog’s Food/Water Bowls Regularly

Most families do not think about washing their pets food dishes regularly. We place food and water bowls through the dishwasher daily. Even though some dogs will eat the most disgusting things on the planet…(poop, trash or drink from the toilet, etc), we may not realize there can be a lot of bacteria introduced to the bowls, after eating food and drinking water. Over a short period of time, the bowls can become really gross and a hot bed for bacteria. Even if you feed dry kibble, saliva from your dogs tongue and lips, will introduce bacteria to the bowls each meal and water time.
